Hi all, I hope you are all doing well. I don’t know about you all, but I am stressed. It is over halfway through the semester, and I have so much to do that I am quite literally drowning in schoolwork. I knew coming into this semester that six classes and 18 credit hours while doing my capstone would be no joke, and I am correct. Not only that, but I have been so busy with extracurriculars as well, and I’m sick, which is nothing new, just not great on top of my chaotic school schedule right now. This week has mostly consisted of trying to stay afloat and not hit my breaking point because any minute, I feel like I will snap.  I have the longest to-do list of assignments every day, and I am so behind on so many things, including my Capstone. This week alone, I’ve had two decently sized and important presentations. My strategy right now is just to take it day by day. I truly am just waiting for Thanksgiving Break so that I can finally have a break from school and responsibilities....

               Simternship. The assignment of the semester for our Principles of Social Media class. Essentially it's exactly like it sounds. This assignment took place on our online textbook platform, Stukent. We got to simulate an actual internship or job in the field of social media. In the simternship, we ran social media posts, projects, and campaigns for a company called Buhi Bags.      I did however expect to be super good and I thought that I would kill the simternship. I definitely thought wrong. It took me a while to get the hang of how I should be doing business and figure out the best ways to post. I did finally get the hang of it maybe 6 or 7 rounds in. The system was harder than I thought and opened my eyes to my future career.      Nobody enjoys a textbook. They tend to be wordy and have small fonts; carrying it arou nd is a pain.      As the semester starts to end like anyone else, I'm looking forward to the summer. I know that it'll be nice to have a break from academics and to work for some money to use the following school year.       Everything has mostly been fine since I got back last Friday. As mentioned I was able to make it to the Greek Olympics. But then my nurse and doctor called me the following Thursday saying some of my typical bloodwork results were not looking so good. So alas I packed up and left Ada again. Thankfully this time I didn't have to be admitted through the emergency department and was able to have my doctors directly admit me which relieved some stress.       Pretty much as soon as I got to the floor they started taking a lot of my blood to run various tests.      As I said last week life is unexpected even now being three years post-transplant. I am once again back in the hospital after being sick for the last week and a half. I know that this is for the best right now but it sucks and I miss my friends. Not only am I missing my friends but I am missing Greek week as well which I've been looking forward to for a while. Although I am currently stuck in the hospital we still made the best of celebrating my "3rd birthday''. I started the morning like any other day with labs from my IV and taking my meds. But my dad got to stop by and visit for a bit before he headed somewhere to play golf.  Afterward, my mom came by bringing me a giant three-ballon and a 3-year-old birthday card. It was nice to get to spend time with my parents since I wasn't originally going to be home on my liverversary. I also got to see one of my best friends from home since attends Ohio State which isn't too far from Nationwide Children's. Sh...

     Ever since coming to Northern I have changed and grown so much in these past two years. In high school, it was very similar to here at ONU. I didn't get involved my freshman year my mom and intervention specialist had to beg me to join Theater. I honestly don't know why I was stubborn about it because I loved middle school theater but it made me who I am and wouldn't change joining. The theater kids quickly became my second family because I spent hours on end with these people. I went on adventures with this group of people. I honestly spent more time with my theater family than with my mom, dad, and sister Ruby. That being said while I loved this group of people and I grew so many ways with them it was good for me to get out and come to ONU where I knew nobody. This all leads to now where yes I miss it sometimes but I know my time has passed.     Being in theater I never was in a leadership role even as a senior it made me sad because I felt like...

     Over this past weekend, my sister drove up to Northern and we had a BLAST! She happened to have a long weekend for Presidents Day so I asked her to come visit me.       As she starts to now look at colleges as a junior in High School I wanted to show her what an average weekend in college looks like for me.       She drove up early Friday afternoon due to the snow starting. Once she got here we first unloaded her car because I had her bring me some groceries from home. Once we did that we moved her car to the visitor lot and got an early dinner at WOW because again I wanted Ruby to really get the collage feel.  We pretty much just hung out around my room and the Theta house over the weekend especially since it was FREEZING and snowing.
