Week 14: Crunch Time!

Image
Welcome back to All in with Althea! As the title says, it is indeed crunch time. With three weeks left of the semester, it's really time to lock in and get through these last few weeks. I have started to make what I would call an academic game plan to get through the final bit of this semester. I also wanted to share a little bit about my Thanksgiving Break. It started out pretty chill for the first few days. I just hung around with my parents and Ruby (when she did come around). It really started to get hectic on Monday and Tuesday through the rest of my break even up to working an early shipment shift at 7 am on Sunday.  Some break highlights include seeing the Broadway Musical “Some Like It Hot”, the new “Wicked: For Good” movie and obviously Thanksgiving day and eating delicious food even as someone who is not a huge fan of Thanksgiving food.      With the year coming to an end I've been slammed as everyone is this time of the year. I don't think I'll have any time to rest until we get out for the summer. But it's time to start a much-needed summer break. My sister is nominated for an award from the Marquees plus I've gone the last two years and had a blast with all my theater friends.        Ruby is nominated for the Backstage Excellence category for being the production manager of the musical Anything Goes. I am so proud of her knowing the countless hours she worked on the set....

Chapter #12:     I am sure everyone these days has heard of these forms of media. They may actively use these platforms for news, entertainment, and enjoyment. These have the ability to be very specific about a topic or have more of a general theme.       I know that I use 3 out of the 4 media forms discussed in this chapter in my everyday life. I first started watching vlogs before I can even remember. I was just a young girl maybe 9 or 10 and I was infatuated with Vloggers on YouTube. These Youtubers would film themselves going to Target, Toys R Us, Marshalls, and pretty much anywhere you could find Toys and simply show what was on the shelves. Barbies. Monster High Dolls. Littlest Pet Shop.  Anything I found interesting I could find a vlogger that had the content I wanted. As I grew up I was always watching vlogs which evolved to different content and interests I had. I then started to listen to podcasts late middle school into high school when I st...
