Week 15: Farewell

Welcome back to All In Althea for possibly the very last time. 


Last time I ended my blog I mentioned that it was bittersweet and it's not that this time I don't feel the same but the senioritis has gotten to me, and I don't care about writing a long farewell post for my blog. 


Dead week is often known for being the chaos before exam week but for me thats often not the case. I usually have many classes canceled and it's really up to me to lock in and get what i am supposed to do done. I see that many other friends and peers have hardcore dead weeks, especially all my friends in STEM. I wonder why its like this for me. Could it be my major or classes or professors or is it senior year or honestly just pure luck? I am definitely not complaining about it believe me I just think it's weird to see everyone so busy whereas I have more of a laid-back schedule for dead week. 


I also don’t have that hectic of a finals week either compared to many others. On Monday I have my Consumer Behavior exam which I am not super worried about so that relieves some stress. But that Wednesday, I have the biggest presentation of my college career, which is my Communications Senior Thesis presentation and that is what my focus has been on. It has really consumed me and although I have over a week away until I present I would be lying if i said i wasnt already losing sleep over being nervous to present it in front of everyone. I really cant wait to have this project and the presentation over with. The following day on Thursday is my final exam of the semester which is also not super stressful which will be my final exam in Spanish 1. 


Overall, while I am not super busy with exams, there is a huge weight on me until this capstone presentation is done and over with. I am so grateful to not have alot of other obligations that week so that I can focus on my presentation.


After I get through my Spanish final I am going to book it out of Ada to get back home. I am just excited to have a complete break from thoughts of school since other breaks I still had aspects of school on my mind.

Welcome back to All In With Althea! I honestly missed being able to update this blog; it's like a visual diary, and I love being able to share my life in this way!  My first week back has been hectic to say the least!  I started out by moving in last Tuesday for Klondike's Crew to help move in the new freshmen here at ONU. After that, I immediately got sick with a fever that night (thanks, chronic illness), but that's nothing I couldn't handle, even though it did still suck. Chapter #6: Twitter... I mean X

Chapter #6:     X is more commonly known as its former name Twitter whereas X was created by Elon Musk after he bought Twitter back in July of 2023. I know that it is popular but I haven't even opened the app since I was told to download it in my high school journalism class.      X allows users to share a post with less than 280 characters and images if they choose to do so. Today X has over 368 million monthly users that send over 6,000 posts every second. X's original purpose was for friends to communicate. Now it is a worldwide social networking site. People go to X now for daily news, sports, and politics.       Marketing with X is key. It allows the brand or company to have a voice and gives them the opportunity to engage with customers and followers more easily compared to other platforms.       I nfluencers are a major part of marketing in 2024. Week 3: Making The Most Of My Senior Year

Hey, I hope you all have had a great week! This past week has been crazy for me, as I've said the last two weeks, and it looks like it'll be that way for a little while longer. I really don't want to complain, though, since I know at this time next year I'll most likely be missing these moments that I'm currently living. That being said, my goal, as I may have mentioned previously, is to really make the most of this last year at Ohio Northern. This has included me joining three new clubs, PRSSA, Delight, and, as mentioned before, the art club.
