Week 7: Finding my Voice
Ever since coming to Northern I have changed and grown so much in these past two years. In high school, it was very similar to here at ONU. I didn't get involved my freshman year my mom and intervention specialist had to beg me to join Theater. I honestly don't know why I was stubborn about it because I loved middle school theater but it made me who I am and wouldn't change joining. The theater kids quickly became my second family because I spent hours on end with these people. I went on adventures with this group of people. I honestly spent more time with my theater family than with my mom, dad, and sister Ruby. That being said while I loved this group of people and I grew so many ways with them it was good for me to get out and come to ONU where I knew nobody. This all leads to now where yes I miss it sometimes but I know my time has passed. Being in theater I never was in a leadership role even as a senior it made me sad because I felt like...
